Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Grays
Hours: Full-time, 9 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday), with a 1-hour lunch break
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Overview:Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of customer transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound telephone calls, process orders, manage cases, and assist with customer inquiries and deliveries.
- Work towards KPIs and job duties, ensuring efficient task completion.
- Perform general administrative duties in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, regularly update customer details, and encourage upselling to promote business growth.
- Collaborate with Transport Managers and the Customer Services Manager to resolve any service issues and ensure on-time delivery of transactions.
- Conduct site visits to provide waste management solutions, as needed.
- Assist customers in classifying their waste in compliance with hazardous/special waste procedures.
- Provide quotations for hazardous/special waste and ensure the correct paperwork is in place.
- Stay informed about waste management legislation and assist customers with compliance, offering them simple, clear solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional telephone manner and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc.), and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Numeracy skills, along with a "can-do" attitude and a desire for continuous development.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in transport, waste management, or sales.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
