Role: SALES DIRECTOR - HEAVY PLANT HIRE

Salary: c£70,000-£80,000 basic, + bonus & car package

SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR - HEAVY PLANT HIRE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing Heavy Plant Hire business. The role is a newly created position to drive the sales & marketing strategy of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective national sales strategy, to include consistent and well managed sales processes. You will place strong emphasis on the coaching and development of your sales force ensuring they are motivated and fully focussed on delivering maximum revenue, through a combination of effective portfolio and territory management.

The role reports directly to the Managing Director. You will have sole responsibility for all sales responsibilities.

Self motivated and driven by the personal need to succeed, you must also demonstrate the ability to combine these attributes with a collaborative approach to all fellow team members. You should prefer to lead by example, whilst recognising the need to both achieve and sustain the buy in of others.

Persuasive and personable, you should have a strong desire and ability to influence at all levels, both fellow team members and customers alike.

It is essential you have a proven track record of leading sales teams and formulating sales & marketing strategy in the UKPlant Hire sector. Knowledge of the sector is essential and is a pre-requisite to applying.

The role requires someone based in the South East, but with a UK wide remit.
