Read on to find out more about our Branch Sales Specialist position.The Role: We’re already a market leader in the domestic Plumbing and Heating sector, selling products to both trade and consumer customers. But now we are expanding into the Commercial (Non-Residential) sector too. This is why we’re excited to announce Commercial at City Plumbing has now been established offering solutions across the Commercial sector including everything from Bathrooms & Washrooms to Mechanical & Electrical Building services- selling the full range of products for commercial construction projects.As part of this new venture, we’re now looking to recruit a Branch Sales Specialist to be an expert within the branch for Non-Residential and Commercial Products. This Branch Sales Specialist role enables our City Plumbing branches to provide a diverse offering to customers, ensuring that we offer best in class knowledge and service to engage current and new customers in our product offering. The Non-Residential Branch Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving sales for Non-Residential and Commercial products, ensuring that sales targets for these areas are met regularly with a focus on maximising sales volume and margin. The Branch Sales Specialist will also provide excellent customer service and product / project fulfillment in line with customer expectations. This Branch Sales Specialist position is a great opportunity to join a fast growing business and develop your own career.Key Responsibilities Regular call out activity is required to continue to build sales volumes through existing and new business, ensuring that you increase footfall and sign up to Trade Accounts, following up to ensure that quotes are provided and converted into sales.Utilise the proposition and your own knowledge to build confidence in our product offering as we continue our journey into the commercial space. Maximise sales potential by seeking opportunities for linked sales or to upsell products within the category.Play an active part in supporting branch colleagues to have a better understanding of our Commercial offering. Take part in training and upskilling sessions to grow your knowledge and share it back in branch to reinforce your learning.Ensure that the full Non-Residential Core range is available for purchase at all times. Review  branch stock profile to ensure that local customer requirements are catered for within the stock holding budget and stock weeks cover target.Effectively manage the stock required for each project to ensure OTIF fulfilment of each project whilst maximising working capital performance by effective stock ordering, collation and fulfilment that does not expose the business or the customer to hire levels of risk through product availability or specification changes Continue to build customer relationships, through the promotion of local events, supporting key customer meetings and maximising the opportunity to sell Non-Residential & Commercial products through your branch.Own Non-Residential & Commercial business plans to drive and achieve targets for your branch, using the tools and systems available to you to create specific action plans to achieve your targets and track progress against these.This is an onsite role working at one of our new strategic Commercial operations hubs.You: You’ll live and breathe our customer-first ethos, with a proactive and “can-do” approach. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with our brand new Commercial at City Plumbing team and you’ll be committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do.Skills and competencies Commercial (Non-Residential) Product Knowledge and able to give technical understanding to customers.Previous experience working in a merchanting environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
