Permanent Position40-hour week – Permanent 6-2 Shift£32,000 - £34,000 per annum DOE 28 days Holiday, Free Parking My client is an established sub-contract laser and fabrication company, based in Grays, Essex. Due to internal promotions, they now have a requirement for a Laser Operator to join their existing team on the shop floor. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Laser Operator will be a likeable character, who will get on with others, be punctual and work well with minimum supervision after training. They will also be trained to work on Press Brake machines. The Laser Operator role will involve:

Operating Trumpf or Laser machines and / or Bystronic Press Brakes
Following instructions and working with minimal supervision.

Then ideal candidate for the Laser Operator will:

Preferably have worked in an engineering environment previously.
Have held a similar role previously – if you have used other similar machines, cross training can be provided.
Be able to work with the team but also on your own initiative.
