Turkish Speaking Tutor - Grays Essex -

Remedy are looking for ESOL Turkish speaking tutor to teach a young student who need to help with speaking and learning English.

The Successful Tutor will be someone who is positive, flexible, and able to plan engaging sessions in order to work towards desired outcomes.

You will be supporting a range of young people from Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 4.

The role is 10 hours a week (2 hours a day) based in a foster home.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with students to overcome barriers to learning
  • Implement teaching and learning strategies to make sessions engaging and motivating
  • Focus on topics including reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
  • Complete weekly reports of student's engagement, attainment, and weekly attendance.
  • Liaise with multi agencies which could include a young person's school, social worker, or family members

Requirements

  • Must hold an ESOL/ TEFL qualification
  • Have experience of previously working effectively with young people
  • Be someone who is compassionate, caring and understanding
  • Be able to work in the East London area
