We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join a plant machinery company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description:
- Shall be able to carry out electrical installations and maintenance of electrical supplies and systems
- Installation, Maintenance, Improvement and capital work will be completed in this role to support the chemical processes as necessary
- Electricians will have responsibility for the maintenance and breakdown of the electrical systems and equipment on site
- Responsible to maintain the necessary standards expected by the company for the safety of him/herself and others
Skills and Qualifications:
- 18th Edition (BS7671:2018)
- NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical Services in Electrical or BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of PLCs, 3 Phase motors, fault finding & trouble shooting on industrial control systems
