Are you an organised and cheerful individual looking to jump start your career in a vibrant team? We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join a thriving construction business in Grays, Essex! As the backbone of the office, you'll ensure smooth operations and provide essential support to the Office Manager.
Your Role:
As an Administrator, you'll be the friendly face of our company, making a positive impression on visitors, customers, and vendors alike! Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- Assist the Office Manager and payroll team with daily tasks.
- Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail.
- Maintain the welcoming reception area and attend to visitors.
- Answer incoming calls and transfer them as necessary.
- Draught, format, and print important documents.
- Order stationery and office supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with managers to carry out their requests.
- Create agendas and take notes during meetings.
- Assist with purchase orders and processing invoices using Sage.
- Handle outgoing post and maintain records of special deliveries.
- Photocopy and file documents efficiently.
- Keep sign-in/out sheets and vehicle registration lists updated.
- Arrange meetings by scheduling times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments.
- Extract and submit weekly timesheets to the payroll company using Chime.
- Generate accurate weekly reports for each site.
- Enter all invoices on Eque 2 while maintaining an organised system.
