A large Freight Forwarding company is seeking an Ocean Import Operator to join their team.
The role involves booking shipments, providing shipping details to importers, and processing customs entries for various freight modes.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
The company offers a salary commensurate with experience, along with 20 days of paid holiday and recognized UK public holidays.
Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Fast Freight operating system is required.

A large Freight Forwarding company looking for an Ocean Import Operator, within their team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Booking shipments from start to finish providing all shipping details to the importer
Booking shipments with overseas agents worldwide for ocean and air freight
Providing all shipping details to their importer
Quoting clients for all import modes.
Checking arrivals of vessels and keeping in constant contact with the importer
Processing of customs entries for air, sea and land freight
Working knowledge of CNS / Destin8
Booking deliveries
Completing sales invoices and passing purchase invoices
Weekly shipping reports for customers
Dealing with supplier and customer queries
Looking for (min) 3 5 years experience
We utilise Outlook, Word and Excel. Our operating system is Fast Freight (changing soon to Mainfreight).

Hours of business 09:00 17:00 / Monday Friday

20 days paid holiday + recognised UK public holidays
