Do you have High Speed Packing Line , Line technician experience? Are you looking for a long term temporary position? We are currently looking for high speed packing line operatives to work for our client based in West Thurrock, Grays, Essex.

Hours and Rate:

All 12.25 hour shifts with 05:45 to 18:00 or 17:45 to 0600 - pattern as below:

W1

Mon Day, Tue Day, Frid night, Sat Night & Sun night

W2

Weds day & Thurs day

W3

Mon night, Tues night, Frid Day, Sat day & Sun day

W4

Weds & Thurs night

Pay Rate

£18.15 per hour - inclusive of shift allowance

Job Purpose:

To own a piece of equipment, own one or more systems and to autonomously operate your production line, contributing your individual results to the line. Contributing to department and business unit results.

Monitored Results:

  • Personal HSE incidents
  • Personal quality alerts/incidents
  • Process Reliability (PR) of the line
  • Unplanned stops of the owned equipment
  • Line unplanned stops
  • Compliance
  • Quality check completion
  • Cleaning completion
  • Defects found
  • Defects fixed
  • Time compliance

Responsibilities

Own the results of your line and equipment

Own your personal training completion

TASKS

  • Empty unscramble reject bin and labeller bottle reject bin
  • Change label reels
  • Complete Weight checks
  • Empty reject lane and top up glue
  • Complete required tracking documentation
  • Complete timely quality checks
  • Complete Size change on any equipment
  • Complete on time production confirmations in system
  • Complete Maple editing
  • Complete sanitisation
  • Complete size change on any equipment
  • Cover line leader breaks
  • Follow code of conduct
  • Maintain standards on line at all times
  • Complete Pallet quality checks on every change and every 2 hrs.
  • Re-work pallets when required.

Requirements:

  • Basic analytic skills ability to learn
  • Strong technical mastery & troubleshooting skills
  • Basic PC literate or interest to develop PC literacy (word excel QW)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible in working hours

  • Previous experience of working on high speed production line
