About the Role:
As a Sociology Teacher at our school, you will have the chance to inspire and motivate students to explore the complexities of human society, culture, and social behaviour. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-Level), delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.


Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention where necessary.
Foster a passion for Sociology among students, encouraging independent learning and curiosity about the subject.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the department's teaching and learning strategies.


About You:
Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification (QTS).
Experience teaching Sociology at secondary level (KS3/KS4) is essential; A-Level experience is desirable.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
