Reed engineering are currently supporting a busy manufacturing company who are looking for mechanical maintenance technicians to join their team. This role is on a shift basis 4 on 4 off and attracts London weighting enhancement.
Duties
路 Carry out routine / preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the plant in a safe and efficient manner.
路 Respond to plant breakdowns as required.
路 Carry out routine inspections and maintenance associated with the plant preventative maintenance system (FSI).
路 Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
路 Ensure all H&S procedures, including permit to work, are adhered to.
路 Assist in the preparation / implementation of RAMS, necessary to carry out each task.
路 Comply with Health and Safety requirements, as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc.
路 Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to line manager.
路 Attend training as required to maintain personal qualifications/competence.
