We are currently seeking a dedicated 1 to 1 Support (ADHD) specialist to join our secondary schools in Grays. The 1 to 1 Support (ADHD) role is a full-time position, starting immediately, and is ideal for someone passionate about working with students who have ADHD, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and socially.

As a 1 to 1 Support (ADHD) specialist, you will work closely with a specific student, helping them to stay focused, manage their behaviour, and fully engage in their learning. Your support will be vital in assisting the student in overcoming challenges related to ADHD, ensuring they thrive in the school environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalized 1:1 support to a student with ADHD, focusing on their individual learning needs.
  • Assisting with classroom tasks and assignments, ensuring the student remains on track and motivated.
  • Implementing strategies to help the student manage ADHD-related behaviours and improve concentration.
  • Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to develop an effective support plan tailored to the student's needs.
  • Offering emotional and behavioural support to promote a positive learning experience.

The ideal candidate for the 1 to 1 Support (ADHD) role will have experience working with students with ADHD or similar needs, strong communication skills, and a caring, patient approach. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a student's academic journey.
