Description

We are seeking a skilled IPAF operator to join our clients well establishedteam. As an IPAF operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of powered access equipment, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers. Your expertise in safely maneuvering these machines will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and without incident.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and control powered access equipment according to industry regulations and company guidelines
  • Inspect equipment before each use to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential safety hazards
  • Perform routine maintenance on powered access equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting controls
  • Collaborate with team members and other professionals on construction sites to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance performed, and any incidents or malfunctions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to powered access equipment operation

Requirements

  • Valid IPAF license and certification
  • Proven experience operating powered access equipment, preferably in a construction or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to the operation of powered access equipment
  • Ability to interpret and follow instruction manuals, safety guidelines, and diagrams
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to operate equipment for extended periods and perform maintenance tasks
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
