As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including answering telephone calls, processing orders, and dealing with customer enquiries. Your role will involve working in line with key performance indicators and company policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the customer service function. You must be able to maintain an orderly workflow and prioritise tasks effectively to meet company expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving any issues, ensuring timely delivery of transactions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide quotations and essential paperwork in accordance with current legislation.
  • Maintain contact with customers, ensuring details are up to date and encouraging upselling, facilitating organic growth.
  • Work with Transport Managers and Customer Services Manager to deliver a high standard of customer service, dealing with job issues and ensuring transactions are delivered on time
  • Visit customers on-site to provide solutions and assist them in understanding and complying with procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, a good attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. Proficiency in MS packages and a willingness to learn new systems are essential. You should also be numerate and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships. A good attitude and willingness to develop will also be highly valued.
