We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Learning Support Assistant (Behaviour LSA) to join our dynamic team at secondary schools in Grays. As a Behaviour LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, addressing behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social interactions among students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs or behaviour support are advantageous.
