Learning Support Assistant
Remedy are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school based in Grays. Their aim is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for our students, where they can develop their skills, talents, and confidence to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a team in a school. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support students with special educational needs and disabilities.
As a learning support assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons and supporting students with their learning.
- Providing one-to-one support for students with SEN.
- Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Encouraging students to develop their social and communication skills.
- Supporting students with their personal care needs, where necessary.
The successful Learning Support assistant will have:
- Experience of working with children and young people with SEN.
- Knowledge of a range of SEN conditions and how they can impact on learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
