HGV Fitter X 1 - West Thurrock

  • 42 hours per week between the hours of 06.00am - 19.00pm based on a weekabout shift pattern
  • Hourly Rate: £22.80 Overtime is paid as follows: Monday to Saturday @ time and half & Sunday @ Double

Key Accountabilities:

ï‚· Service and inspect all vehicles to VOSA standard;

ï‚· Diagnose and rectify and faults that may arise;

ï‚· Identify and order parts, when and as required;

ï‚· Carry out breakdown when necessary;

 To complete and maintain all documentation on the company’s vehicle maintenance system;

ï‚· Keep all workshop facilities, tools and other equipment clean, tidy and well maintained;

ï‚· Ensure PPE is worn correctly and appropriately

ï‚· Be responsible for routine servicing and repairs, such as; brakes, gearbox, and clutch repairs; and

ï‚· Ensure work is always undertaken to the highest standard.

Experience & Qualifications

• ADR experience and knowledge (essential)

• Previous experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnostic (essential)

• Previous experience working in a busy HGV workshop (essential)

• Positively represent ICL to our customers and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations.

• Ensure compliance with our ISO standards.

• Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes;

• Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
