Job Role: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Grays, Essex (accepting applications from surrounding counties)
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 base salary (OTE £55,000+)
Hours: Monday-Friday + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card + Overtime @ 1.5x

Our client, who have been established for over 20 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard skilled plant fitters to join their mobile team on a full time, permanent basis. The package:
- Paid door to door
- Attendance bonus - £5 per day (additional £1,300 per annum available)
- 20 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays

The Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
- Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
- Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
- Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
- Experience working on engines would be advantageous
- Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
- A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK Drivers License
