We are looking for a mechanical maintenance supervisor to provide leadership, guidance and direction to the mechanical maintenance team while ensuring that projects and works meet the quality standards and deadlines. We have 8 sites in the UK and have an outstanding annual turnover over of over £125 million, establishing the success of the business.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue the safety procedures and work to the Mechanical Technicians.
  • Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance work.
  • Control all mechanical maintenance activities on site using the personnel efficiently
  • Complete all routine checks following the preventative maintenance schedules whilst actively assisting with any breakdowns.
  • Provide daily supervision to the mechanical technicians with an efficient operation.
  • Ensure adequate risk assessments and safe systems of work are completed for all activities
  • Complete all duties as an Authorised Person on site within the Permit to Work system.
  • Help develop and follow the preventative maintenance program for the site
  • Follow a rigorous inspection program for all equipment on site
  • Any other reasonable duty as identified by the ICL senior management team to satisfy business needs, within the role holders capability & with sufficient training.

 

Experience and Qualification:

 

Experience working in an industrial manufacturing site

IOSH certificate

Previous supervisory experience
