Production Operatives needed (weekend shift)
SureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit Production Operatives, for our client based in Grimsby area. Our client is leading food manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality ready meals..
Ideal candidate for a Production Operatives role will have:
- Previous experience in food production or a similar factory environment (beneficial).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, chilled environment.
- Understanding of food safety regulations (training provided).
- Good teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as standing for long hours and lifting when required.
- Flexible approach to shifts and working hours.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Production Operatives
- Work on the production line, preparing, assembling, and packing ready meals.
- Handle raw ingredients and cooked products, ensuring correct portioning and quality.
- Operate and monitor machinery used for food processing, filling, and packaging.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations (HACCP & BRC standards).
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow strict sanitation procedures.
- Assist with stock handling, ingredient preparation, and supply replenishment.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any issues with machinery, ingredients, or processes to supervisors.
Shift times for a Production Operatives:
- DAYS only
- Saturday and Sunday
- 6am-6pm
Pay Rates for Production Operatives:
- 11.44/hour
- Overtime (after 45h)- 17.16/hour
