Duty Fleet Manager | £(Apply online only) per day (Inside IR35) | Merseyside area| initial 3-month Contract.

 

Are you a meticulous and tenacious professional with experience and passion for rolling stock operations? We are seeking a Duty Fleet Manager to ensure to smooth and safe operation of the fleet. This role is pivotal in providing business-critical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage fleet operations using the SRMS system.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and welfare standards are upheld at all times.
  • Log all activities to ensure that accurate records are maintained.
  • Adopt a meticulous and tenacious approach to documenting and communicating all fleet-related activities.
  • Understand and address the pressures faced by the Fleet Team and MEC members.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A meticulous and tenacious approach to documenting and communication.
  • Understand the pressures that the Fleet Team and MEC members may be under and provide support accordingly.
  • Experience of managing an operations team in a high-pressure environment.

  • Company Safety Policy and Procedures
  • IOSH
  • Fire Safety
  • Core Management skills
  • Operation of TRUST
  • Operation of GEMINI
  • Operation of CCTV systems (on train)
