A component manufacturing company based in Great Dunmow are looking for an assembly operative to help assist in their parts department. You will ideally have some experience within assembly or manufacturing however other relate-able experience will be considered.
Please note company will be relocating to Braintree around May 2025 so you must be able to commute to Braintree. This will be to a brand new purpose built site!
Starting salary will be circa 12.21ph but will be dependent on experience Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, with a 15:45 finish on a Friday! The company also have an annual bonus scheme based on company profits!
Assembly Operative duties include:
Using hand tools such as cutters and spanners
Soldering and cutting/stripping cables
Follow detailed inspection procedures
Lifting and moving heavy boxes of finished products
- Using vacuums to fill moulds
The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be keen to learn, as you will be working within a busy environment. You will need to be physically fit as there will be an element of heavy lifting within the role.
