- The Just Recruitment Group is seeking a Machinist / CNC Setter / Operator for a client in Great Dunmow, Essex.
- The position requires 2-3 years of experience in CNC and manual turning, with a focus on operating a 2 axis CNC lathe and manual lathe.
- Working hours are from 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.00am to 3.45pm on Fridays, totaling 38 hours per week.
- The role offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience, and involves working with various materials and performing tasks like pillar drilling and polishing.
- Candidates must be able to read engineering drawings, and experience in repairing tooling to engineering specifications is advantageous.
Working Hours 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Finish at 3.45pm Friday (38 hours)
Role will involve:
* CNC & Manual turning.
* You would be required to be able set and operate a 2 axis CNC lathe and manual lathe by following a setting sheet.
* Working with cast resin, steel, brass, aluminium, & plastic
* Batch sizes usually 1-20 off.
* Some High tolerances on diameters.
* Ability to read engineering drawings as well as experience of repairing tooling to engineering drawings would be beneficial.
* Perform pillar drilling, tapping, polishing, cleaning and other tasks as required.
* Cleaning down machines and work areas at the end of the day.
