Our well established client is seeking a well organised individual to join their growing team. They are a UK leading provider of testing services using their state of the art laboratory.
Main Duties
- To act as first point of contact for phone enquires with professional telephone manner.
- To chase sub-contracted work.
- To support client emails and assist the admin team with general day to day workload.
- To deal with queries.
- To make general orders.
- To carry out ad-hoc duties.
- To take responsibility for own Health & Safety whilst at work.
- To report any bad practices witnessed to the Sample Prep Manager.
Essential skills required
- Experience in an administrative role.Â
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude towards change.
- Adaptability to use various in-house systems and processes.
- Close attention to detail and an understanding of operating within a quality system.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft based products, in particular Excel and Word).
- Good written and verbal communication.
Desirable
- Experience in a customer service/admin role.
- Scientific education background, but not essential.
- Knowledge of an industry work stream (Laboratory, analytical Chemistry, Geotechnical testing etc.).
