Competencies for the Semiconductor Verification Engineer will ideally include:

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Electronics related discipline.
  • Proven experience working within the Semiconductor industry.
  • Competence in Digital Design Verification using UVM or similar.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions and Formal Verification.
  • Good knowledge of simulation tools (Cadence ideal).
  • A track record in verifying complex designs in high volume ASIC applications.
  • Scripting skills.

The Semiconductor Verification Engineer role will encompass:  Working closely with Design Engineersin verification and validation of circuit designs; developing design verification methodologies and implementing standard debug flows as well as preparing design verification plans based on design specifications – utilizing the latest techniques, tools and technologies for all verification activities.
