The company design and manufacture bespoke engineering systems and test machinery for various industry sectors including automotive and defence. Due to increased sales and growth they are seeking to strengthen their team by the recruitment of a Commissioning Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Director - the main purpose of the Commissioning Engineer role is the responsibility for the commissioning and overseeing the installation of equipment and systems to ensure they work safely and to clients needs.

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

  • Checking onsite system electrical installations and fault finding as necessary
  • Calibrating and setting up electronic data acquisition, electrical and mechanical systems
  • PID tuning of standard automotive control loops
  • Working with development engineers to test bespoke control software
  • Configuring test sequences and performing test runs
  • Following commissioning steps and checks
  • Liaise with customers to achieve system functionality sign off
  • Producing commissioning time schedules
  • Undertake customer service calibration, faul finding and rectification visits
  • Site based role mainly UK and overseas

The company are based in the Malvern area so are easily commutable from Worcester, Hereford, Cheltenham, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Redditch, Birmingham
