We are thrilled to collaborate with a national manufacturing company in recruiting a Quality Manager to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the business. This is a unique opportunity to join a management team within a flat organisational structure, where your ideas can be swiftly implemented.

The RoleReporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the Quality Management System, ensuring that processes and manufactured products not only meet but exceed stringent customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in senior management reviews, directly shaping the business plan and key performance indicators.
  • Continuously improve working practices and procedures to achieve and maintain ISO9001 and ISO14001 excellence and certification.
  • Oversee the Quality and Procedure Manuals.
  • Recruit, support, and develop staff.
  • Coordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company and represent the UK at the group level.
  • Manage all customer quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee production test and inspection activities and resources.
  • Coordinate environmental initiatives.
  • Champion root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Actively support New Product Development activities.

The CandidateTo be successful, you should have experience in a senior Quality position within a manufacturing environment. You should excel at delivering the highest levels of customer service, best working practices, and product quality to clients in highly regulated industries.

Additionally, you should be an exceptional leader with the ability to influence both direct reports and colleagues within the business.
