About the Role:
Our client provides residential accommodation and comprehensive support to vulnerable families, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can develop essential parenting and life skills for independent family life. Their dedicated team - comprising support workers, key support workers, and resident Social Workers - offers practical and emotional guidance. We are now seeking a dynamic manager to oversee the daily operations and supervision of this vital centre.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and managing a team of social workers, each carrying a manageable caseload focused on long-term family support.
  • Conducting thorough assessments and producing timely, high-quality reports.
  • Chairing meetings and cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with partner agencies and professionals.
  • Leading and delivering impactful parenting programs.
  • Preparing and presenting clear and confident statements and court evidence when required.
  • Managing referrals and facilitating effective placement planning meetings.
  • Working strategically to achieve and sustain positive outcomes for children and families within their communities.
  • Ensuring all statutory duties are met in accordance with National Standards and Regulations.
  • Applying your strong understanding of relevant social work legislation and regulations.


What We're Looking For:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
  • Ideally, experience in managing or supervising social workers.
  • Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Demonstrable experience in specialist PAM's assessments and the application of psychodynamic frameworks.
  • Proven proficiency in delivering parenting programs and implementing robust safeguarding practices.
  • Confidence and competence in providing court evidence.
