The Company:

Interaction Technical have partnered with the leading Lifting Equipment Consultancy & Training Providor  in the search for an experienced rack & pinion engineer / inspector. The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop into a lead technical consultant within the Lifiting Equipment Industry offering expert advise, develop training & support engineering clients within the industry

The Package:

  • Salary between £40,(Apply online only)-£50,(Apply online only)
  • Car Allowance - £350 per month (£4200 per year)
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Opportunity for hybrid working – 1 to 2 days in the office

The Role:

  • Develop and review technical documents to support regulations and training surrounding powered and manual lifting equipment
  • To provide a level of expertise surrounding mechanical engineering within the hoist industry to clients, engineers & the compliance team.
  • To support the developments and changes to relevant legislation & standards within the hoist industry and discuss these regulations with current clients
  • Manage the development process of engineers for clients within the lifting equipment industry
  • To be the main point of contact to give an insight surrounding core mechanical & electrical components of powered & manual hoisting equipment

The Requirements:

  • Experience as a mechanical/electrical engineer would be advantageous
  • Proven mechanical knowledge and will to share this knowledge with engineers and team members
  • Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) qualifications are advantageous
  • An understanding of health & safety, regulations a alongside legislations within the Lifting industry
  • Ability to communicate and liaise with both clients and various teams (compliance, engineers, upper management)
  • Previous experience in documentation development (regulations, legislations, health & safety or training)
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
