Role Overview: They are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join the team as a Porter/Pot washer/Cleaner/Helper. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their kitchen and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Support: Assist the kitchen staff by washing pots, pans, and utensils to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Stock Management: Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring that all items are organized and easily accessible.
- General Assistance: Provide support to the kitchen team and other staff as needed, including helping with basic food preparation and other tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
