NXTGEN are pleased to be partnering a well-known business based in the heart of Norfolk who are seeking an experienced Finance Controller looking for a part-time opportunity in a picturesque part of Norfolk. My client is seeking a dedicated professional to take on a traditional Finance Controller role, working 4 days per week. This is a fantastic chance to join a successful and well-established business, playing a vital role in their finance team.

As Finance Controller, you will oversee key aspects of the financial function, ensuring the smooth running of month-end processes and delivering accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing month-end management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Managing budgets and forecasts, providing insight to support strategic planning.
  • Overseeing the preparation of profit and loss (P&L) accounts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Monitoring cash flow and financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaising with senior management and stakeholders to present financial updates and analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

You will have proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and P&L reporting. You will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, and you will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and improving financial performance. You will ideally be ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified (QBE to be considered)
