We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a dedicated and driven Administrator / Sales Order Processor / Administrative Assistantwith previous administrative experience within an office environment who is methodical with an excellent eye for detail.

Working as an Administrator / Sales Order Processor / Administrative Assistantyou will join the Machine Shop Team, working closely with the Machine Shop Manager, Sales Supervisor and Production Planner.

As an Administrator / Sales Order Processor / Administrative Assistantyou will have good communication skills, the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment and will preferably have experience within an engineering / manufacturing background.

DUTIES

Your role as an Administrator / Sales Order Processor / Administrative Assistant will include:

  • Review and process customer orders in a timely manner in the MRP System
  • Providing customers with updates on their orders
  • Answer customer queries by phone and email
  • Liaising with the Machine Shop to assist with any queries
  • General Production and Sales admin duties
  • Reception Duties - answering telephone, greeting visitors etc.
  • Assisting Sales & Production team as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous administration experience within an office environment
  • Experience of an ERP system is advantageous although full training will be provided
  • Experience using Microsoft packages e.g. Excel and Word is essential
  • The ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good communication skills required as you will be dealing directly with both customers and suppliers
  • The ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment is essential
  • Basic knowledge of engineering / raw materials is advantageous
  • Experience within an engineering / manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Dedicated and driven
  • Methodical with an excellent eye for detail
