Teaching AssistantLocation: Great YarmouthJob Type: Full Time.We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the classroom teacher and fostering a positive learning environment for our students.Day to day of the role:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Positively manage student behaviour and promote constructive interactions.
  • Aid in the preparation and grading of student assignments and assessments.
  • Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan and execute school activities and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with primary school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • Teamwork abilities to work collaboratively with the school staff.
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards education.
