Opus People Solutions is hiring a Deputy Manager - Nursing Home for a brand-new nursing home in Great Yarmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations, upholding the highest standards of care and service
  • Lead and assist the care team, taking full management responsibility in the Home Manager's absence
  • Train and mentor care staff, setting a positive example
  • Assist the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments for new residents
  • Ensure resident care plans and daily records are accurate and up to date
  • Build effective communication with residents' families and external partners
  • Encourage residents and families to actively participate in care planning

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Deputy Care Manager or in a similar role
  • NMC Registered Nurse with valid pin (RGN/RMN)
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
