Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations, upholding the highest standards of care and service
- Lead and assist the care team, taking full management responsibility in the Home Manager's absence
- Train and mentor care staff, setting a positive example
- Assist the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments for new residents
- Ensure resident care plans and daily records are accurate and up to date
- Build effective communication with residents' families and external partners
- Encourage residents and families to actively participate in care planning
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Care Manager or in a similar role
- NMC Registered Nurse with valid pin (RGN/RMN)
- Strong understanding of CQC standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
