Electrical Design Engineer
Great Yarmouth (Hybrid working by agreement)6 Month Contract£400 per day +
A growing engineering firm is seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers to support ongoing projects and modular builds. This role is an excellent long term opportunity for skilled professionals to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring designs meet industry and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee design aspects of projects from handover to completion.
- Liaise with engineers and managers to produce CAD drawings.
- Compile design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Generate design deliverables supported by other disciplines.
- Conduct design checks and approvals.
- Complete procurement Bills of Materials (BoM) for purchasing.
- Handle project change procedures and provide programme feedback.
- Take responsibility for allocated projects when required.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Requirements
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical design within relevant industries.
- Experience working within a multi-discipline engineering team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Electrical design software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong design and technical skills with great attention to detail.
