Are you an electrical designer fascinated by developing new products and creating advancements on current products, aspiring for a senior position in an innovative team operating across the subsea and offshore industry?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the development of new products and the enhancement of current products. Being innovative is a key part of the business and therefore must be priority when developing products. The successful candidate will be managing projects from start to finish including labour resource, time and material budget.

The Role:

  • Overseeing the development process of new products and enhancement of current products
  • Ensuring product performance is maximised to maintain market competitiveness
  • Setting and monitoring objectives, annual reviews and ensuring the department is operating successfully day to day
  • Project management including labour resource and ensuring time scales and budgets are complied with

The person:

  • Degree level or equivalent in engineering or physics/maths
  • Practical experience with electronics, firmware and software
  • Experience in projects within offshore equipment
