Job Title: Electronics Test EngineerLocation: Great Yarmouth, UKJob Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Production Team Member with a strong background in electronics to join our client’s team based in Great Yarmouth. This role is integral to the production of high-quality mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies for cutting-edge underwater technology products. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering innovative solutions across various sectors, including Renewables, Environmental, Construction, Oil & Gas, and Naval industries. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sub-assemblies and conduct electronic testing in line with build instructions to ensure full functionality.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, with the ability to relate them to board testing and programming functions.
  • Fault find and report issues at the component level.
  • Operate and maintain test equipment and various testing apparatus.
  • Work accurately from CAD drawings and data packs.
  • Carry out PCB rework, assembly, and cable assembly.
  • Perform final acceptance testing and system configurations.
Candidate Profile:
  • A solid foundation in electronics, with a preference for candidates holding an HND in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronic engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. 
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work collaboratively within a production team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
