An experienced and established design & manufacturer of world leading RF & microwave signal products that are used across space, aerospace, defence, and commercial sectors are seeking an RF and Microwave Test Technician on a contract basis.
Info about what the RF and Microwave Test Technician role entails
RF and Microwave testing, support implementation of the test setup, update test procedures, and documents
Participate in design reviews, implement new test stations for qualification and production
Provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineering for best RF assembly techniques and process review
Develop RF Test competence, train, support recruitment and development
Adhere to EH&S/Company Policies and suggest continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements of RF and Microwave Test Technician
Extensive experience in RF tune & test
Understanding of modern RF test equipment (including Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Power Meters etc)
Understanding RF assembly & methods & impacts
Understanding of Labview (or similar) based test systems
Desirable Requirements of RF and Microwave Test Technician
Some design experience with CAD/ PCB
