We're recruiting on behalf of an established energy business who are looking for a dedicated QA Advisor to join their team to be based in Great Yarmouth.As a QA Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and compliance, providing guidance on inspection and testing requirements, reviewing supplier certifications, and compiling certification packages to meet industry standards and client requirements.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on inspection and testing requirements for energy industry equipment, particularly for oil and gas drilling and decommissioning.
  • Review supplier certifications to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in project meetings to advise on inspection/testing requirements and update progress on QA activities.
  • Work with other departments to address issues and mitigate potential delays, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Compile inspection and test certifications for projects and generate comprehensive certification packages.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and third-party inspectors to witness inspection/testing activities and documentation reviews.
  • Complete role-specific training as required to maintain expertise and performance.
Requirements for the role
  • Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
  • Experience in reviewing and compiling certification packages for energy industry products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
