Typically, this person will be an experienced Fabricator having worked on Aluminium workboats.
Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Fabricator:
- Fabricate and assemble aluminium structures for workboats.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Perform MIG welding on aluminium components.
- Use fabrication tools (e.g., plasma cutters, grinders) effectively.
- Ensure work meets marine standards and quality checks.
- Work with welders and engineers to complete builds.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
Requirements Of the Fabricator:
- Experience in aluminium fabrication, preferably in marine work.
- Skilled in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
