About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Clinical Lead to join our Learning Disability Services in Great Yarmouth. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that the highest standards of clinical care and governance are maintained. Working closely with our nurses and care staff, you will be supported by the management team to ensure the needs of our residents are met through excellent nursing and clinical care.
This position involves working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, providing care in a calm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the nursing team with a strong clinical skillset, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Make sound clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and training to staff to promote excellent nursing care.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the team.
  • Manage and oversee compliance, safeguarding, audits, and CQC regulations.
  • Actively contribute to clinical care delivery and governance, ensuring the best outcomes for residents.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong clinical leadership experience or experience leading a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate about promoting best nursing practices and mentoring others.
  • Confidence in clinical decision-making.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, DOLS, CQC, and compliance processes.
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
