Senior IT Support Engineer / Great Yarmouth / Permanent / Salary £35,000

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our client, a reputable engineering services company. This role is ideal for professionals with a proactive approach, strong technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional solutions in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Fault finding diagnostic and repair of computers hardware and software either remotely or in person.
Supporting members of the IT team with escalations and training. Providing IT support to all staff with the business with required (first and second line)
Escalating problems to the appropriate next level of support when necessary
Being proactive in identifying potential technical and process improvements.
Provide out of hours ad hoc support to the business
Create and maintain document as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Occasional travel to vessels for systems/software maintenance

A successful Senior IT Support Engineer should have extensive experience in IT and desktop support, a strong understanding of networking equipment, and excellent expertise in Office 365, Azure AD, and Intune. Strong leadership skills and experience in supporting and guiding a team are also essential for this role.

Occasional travel may be required, with additional rates applied accordingly.

This is a full-time permanent position Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours
