About the Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Production Support Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth. This role reports directly to the Production Manager and offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual to support various aspects of production and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries & Collections: Drive company vehicles to deliver and collect goods from internal and external sources, selecting the most time- and fuel-efficient routes.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload deliveries using both manual methods and forklift equipment (training provided as needed). Check delivery notes for accuracy and ensure goods are properly packaged for safe transit.
- Stock Control: Manage stock levels of production consumables, ensuring items are properly stored and easy to access.
Our client is seeking a candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a proactive approach to their work. Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team, ensuring that operations run smoothly.
