Logistics & Export Control Manager
Location: Great Yarmouth
Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking a skilled Logistics & Export Control Manager to oversee their dedicated logistics team. This role involves managing all aspects of equipment movement, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and acting as the focal point for HMRC and other government bodies regarding customs and export activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the logistics, customs, and export control functions across the business.
- Ensure all equipment movements comply with legislative requirements and are completed efficiently.
- Provide governance and assurance regarding HMRC regulations, customs, and export controls, submitting accurate and timely statutory reports.
- Monitor changes in customs and export legislation, ensuring compliance and effective communication of updates.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to achieve customs accreditations and drive operational improvements.
- Prepare and submit export licence applications and maintain oversight of licensing renewals and amendments.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring service quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide expertise on logistics, customs, and export control matters.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications, including IATA, IMDG, and ADR certifications.
- Completion of ECO training in export licence application and control.
- Tariff classification expertise and strong knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations.
- At least 5 years of experience in international logistics and compliance.
- Proficiency with the SPIRE export licensing system.
- Exceptional management, organisational, and communication skills.
