We're recruiting on behalf of an established energy business in Great Yarmouth who are looking for a dedicated QA Manager to join their team, based in Great Yarmouth.As Quality Manager, you will lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will uphold the company’s reputation for delivering excellence and reliability.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee inspections, audits, and testing to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including SI-913, API, and DNV codes.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality-related matters to employees.
  • Manage the Quality team, including resource planning, recruitment, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Promote the organisation’s values and maintain a culture of quality excellence.
Requirements for the role
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • ISO 9001 Auditor qualification.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma, ASQ) are desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management within engineering or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and oil and gas industry standards.
  • Experience in machining, fabrication, and project management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change and influence others to deliver improvement initiatives.
