Are you a Electronic Assembler or similar with a background in the marine sector looking for a role with progression and a clear career development plan and training?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be involved in the manufacturing process following testing and building procedures. You will be assembling electrical systems, sub components and panel wiring for the range of products that the company supply.

If you are Production Technician or similar with experience in the marine industry, then this could be a great opportunity for you to advance your career!

The Role

  • Supporting the manufacturing and testing of electrical products
  • Following the company procedures on the building and testing of equipment
  • Testing, fault finding and repairing basic Printed Circuit Boards
  • Assisting the engineers in inspecting underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors
  • Completing technical reports on faulty and damaged items

The Person

  • Experience in a production environment within the marine industry
  • Working knowledge of electronic fault finding
  • Knowledge of PC/IT based systems including MS Office, supplier websites and HyperTerminal
