The role were hiring for is a PAT Operativewho will join our team based in the Norfolk area.If you have experience with PAT testing, wed love to hear from you. Ideally, youll have a City & Guilds 2377 qualification, but if not, dont worrywe provide in-house training. If PAT testing is a career youve been interested in, wed still like to hear from you. Were looking for someone who can carry out thorough, compliant PAT testing and provide a friendly, professional service to our clients. Youll need a full UK driving license, and well carry out DBS/security checks. Occasionally, weekend work may be required depending on business needs.
What you receive for joining us:
Were looking to offer a salary of £26,769.60, working 45hrs per week. In addition, we offer lots of overtime, a company vehicle,mileage allowance, a mobile phone or tablet, a company pension, 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, testing equipment and a uniform along with high street discounts.
Heres a look at some of the things youll be doing:
Youre required to perform electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances to ensure that each item is safe to use, make fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary
Microwave Emissions testing is also required
Data submission is an integral part of the role, and all appliance testing must be done under the Code of Practice, 5th edition
You must be happy to travel, managed your time effectively and provide a first-class client service
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
Ideally, youll be qualified in City and Guilds 2377 or equivalent, if not, training will be given
Have basic electrical knowledge and have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work independently or part of a team
Professional approach to work is a must with a strong desire to work efficiently and thoroughly
