We are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business in Great Yarmouth who are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our global shipping and logistics operations, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of their specialised equipment.We are looking for a logical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and can proactively manage complex logistical challenges with a professional approach.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive shipping documentation, including dispatch notes, commercial invoices, and cargo summary tickets
  • Coordinate international freight movements with global logistics partners
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics colleagues to maintain precise import and export control
  • Manage document control and record-keeping across international locations
  • Validate freight and pack invoices for import and export items
  • Obtain competitive quotes from freight providers
  • Support multiple company sites with import/export logistics
Requirements for the role
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics coordination
  • Proven expertise in international logistics, exports, and imports
  • Comprehensive understanding of shipping, customs procedures, and incoterms
  • Proficient knowledge of export licence control and import regimes
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and documentation management
  • Exceptional organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently with integrity and adaptability
