The Role - What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the driving force behind the company's procurement, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring materials are always available when needed. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Procurement & Purchasing

    • Managing purchase orders based on pre-determined requirements.
    • Working with a trusted supplier base-this isn't a cold-sourcing role; it's about strategic purchasing.
    • Assisting in supplier negotiations and contract renewals when required.
  • Inventory & Logistics

    • Keeping inventory levels optimised and up to date on Sage 200.
    • Managing import/export logistics, ensuring compliance with changing regulations.
    • Overseeing transport and distribution to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaboration & Administration

    • Working closely with senior management and key departments to ensure smooth operations.
    • Forecasting materials for future projects to prevent delays.
    • Handling supplier audits and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Who We're Looking For:
  • A strong background in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in inventory control and logistics, including import/export.
  • Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Sage 200 and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Details:
  • Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
  • Travel within the UK and abroad may be required.
  • Location: Great Yarmouth (candidates must be within a commutable distance).
