Are you a R&D Engineer with experience in developing new and innovative product solutions within the marine industry or similar, looking to join an established team of engineers in a rewarding role?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of new products and the enhancement of current products identifying issues and potential solutions. Being innovative is a key part of the business and therefore must be priority when developing products. The successful candidate will be testing components, prototypes and PCB assemblies along with the creating documents of products and procedures.

The Role:

  • Developing and introduction of new products and advancements
  • Testing components and prototypes to ensure that all regulations are complied with and that products are maximised to their full potential
  • Completing the relevant documents on procedures and standards
  • Component selection, circuit simulations and PCB design

The Person:

  • Experience in electronic engineering design
  • Knowledge of technical products design and the manufacturing processes
  • Experience in projects with subsea/offshore products and design
